The 1-minute sneak-peek offers some new details about the heroes and the villains, and features stars Chiwetel Ejiofor, Tilda Swinton and Mads Mikkelsen who talk about their roles Karl Mordo, the Ancient One and Kaecilius respectively, AceShowbiz said. According to Ejifor, Mordo and the Ancient One both take it upon themselves to train unusual in the mystic arts, making it sound like he and the Ancient One are more equals than initially thought, with Mordo in particular being responsible for bringing odd into their midst.
According to Marvel Studios head Kevin Feige, the Zealots are "people who become seduced by what they see on the other side".
Doctor Strange is unique for the Marvel shared universe of movies in that it is the first that deals directly with magic. There's a little bit of footage in the sneak preview, but also a fair amount of concept art (which makes sense since the film is in the midst of post-production so plenty of the reality-bending effects are still being finished).
For now, we'll just have to wait and see, but we're only getting more excited to see Marvel's magical take on the superhero flick.
