Kim Kardashian is back in the arms of her husband Kanye West after returning to New York City following a terrifying encounter with armed robbers in Paris.
On Monday, Kardashian West was robbed at gunpoint by men dressed as police officers in the early morning hours (local time) while staying at a private apartment in Paris.
The fact that the bodyguard was not present when the gang struck has raised speculation in Paris that the thieves had either been trailing and observing her extremely closely, or they had been tipped off by someone within her entourage that Duvier was not present. The suspects allegedly forced a concierge at gunpoint to lead them to her suite, and Kardashian reportedly "saw at least one masked man and another wearing a police hat through a sliding glass door". Kimmel then demanded the stolen jewelry, worth as much as $10 million, be returned immediately or he will have "no choice but to send Khloé over there, and when that happens, all you can do is pray".
The two suspects fled with three others. "I'm sorry. Family emergency, I have to stop the show".
"She was hysterical but not screaming as she knew she had to keep quiet to survive", a source close to the reality TV star told People.
The celebrity couple, who are hardly known as camera-shy, have not commented since the robbery and dodged reporters as they arrived Monday at a luxury apartment in NY.
As news of the event spread, West abruptly ended a performance in NY less than an hour into his set.

The revelations she was followed come as it emerged Kim wriggled free after being bound and gagged in the flat's apartment.
"I would say it's either an inside job or publicity stunt. She needs to be with someone all the time; she doesn't want to be alone".
"Kim is constantly traveling and sleeping in hotels", the source explains.
"The events that occurred in Paris was one of the most sickening things I have seen or heard", Pascal told MailOnline.
It's unclear who he managed to speak to, but it seems that Rob did manage to get word that Kim Kardashian was unharmed.
Kardashian, who had just posted an Instagram photo of the baubles, was only able to make out the word "ring" from the robbers' demands. "And it's very frightening".
