Talks on Microsoft hosting an event on october 26 have been around for quite a while now, and they're becoming louder and louder with each passing day.
Microsoft has an event coming up in NY, scheduled to take place toward the end of the month. Other specs and features of the upcoming Microsoft Surface All-In-One PC, remain unknown for now.
According to The Verge, Microsoft was previously found testing three Surface PC models- 21-inch at full HD, 24-inch at 4K, and 27-inch at 4K.
Microsoft's all-in-one (AIO) Surface desktop's rumored launch in October is getting more likely to be true as the tech giant has recently announced an event at this month's end.
Speculations are also rife that two of the Surface All-In-One PCs will support 4K, which means that the display resolution will be 3,680 x 2,140 pixels.
Obama heads to Chicago to raise money for Democrats
After the very eventful morning, Knoller later announced that Obama had safely landed in Chicago and was off to a fundraiser. Barack Obama has already cast his vote in the USA presidential election, which doesn't take place until November 8.
Another reason pointed out why the Surface Book 2 and the Surface Pro 5 are unlikely to be unveiled later this month is that it is also believed that the said devices will come with the Windows 10 Redstone 2 update.
The laptop is expected to be released along with the Microsoft Surface Pro 5 spring next year. Expectations are also high considering the fact that Microsoft is rumoured to say goodbye to new Lumia phones, continue with the existing range till the time of launch of the new Surface Phone. All of these devices are expected to be launched simultaneously with the Surface Desktop this October.
The software giant relies on it for additional features they plan for the Microsoft Surface Book 2, which is reportedly the reason, among others, that they made a decision to put off an October showing for the laptop. Ostensibly, it looks to be all about the software, but it shouldn't come as a surprise if Microsoft does have hardware to unveil at the event. There might be a few other announcements for their other hardware, but it is not expected to be anything major like their Surface devices.
These accessories are expected to be sold separately.
At the upcoming Microsoft has an event, customers would want to lay their hands on the new PC as soon as possible, but the release date of the Microsoft PCs may depend on the release of Intel's Kaby Lake processors.
