Sam Allardyce's sense of humour failed him on Monday after the Watford mascot dived when Wilfried Zaha went over to applaud the Crystal Palace fans following the 1-1 draw.
Allardyce was appointed Palace manager on Friday, penning a two-and-a-half year deal after the club parted company with Alan Pardew on Thursday.
Although Watford also have just one win in their last five league games, Ighalo believes Walter Mazzarri's side are capable of competing against any opposition.
And Allardyce, who was booted out of the England job after just 67 days in charge after being caught up in a newspaper sting, didn't see the amusing side either. Crystal Palace: Wayne Hennessey 6, Martin Kelly 6, Scott Dann 6, Damien Delaney 5, Joel Ward 7, Mathieu Flamini 7, Yohan Cabaye 8, Jason Puncheon 6, Wilfried Zaha 7, Andros Townsend 7, Christian Benteke 6.
"We have to find somebody who scores them like Mark Noble; one in 26 missed".
The draw moves the Hornets up to 10th whilst Big Sam's men sit in 17th, just two points ahead of the relegation zone, which they will drop into if Sunderland are able to defeat Manchester United later today.
Indianapolis Colts hanging onto slim playoff hopes; must beat Oakland Raiders
Although the defense has been maligned for its overall ranking (30th in yards allowed), the Raiders have steadily improved. Indianapolis may end up losing, but it will be a game that they can be proud of against one of the best teams in the NFL.
"You've got to do it, it's part of the quick process to try to turn around a hard situation at the moment", he added.
"It doesn't matter where you dummy the goalie, they get all the information these days".
Zaha has been in impressive form so far this season, bagging three goals and six assists in 16 Premier League appearances.
"I did not like the performance of my team but I am happy with how the spirit of the team came out in the second half".
Asked about Zaha's absence if Federation Internationale de Football Association complete the paperwork on his switch back to Ivory Coast, Allardyce added: "I haven't had long enough yet to sit him down and ask him about it".
"I like the look of the squad and that's the probably the reason that I'm here, because I feel that the club can go forward from here and hopefully I can help it go forward".
