Cal has fired head football coach Sonny Dykes, the program officially announced this afternoon.
During his brief tenure at Cal, Dykes notched a 19-30 overall record after managing a total mark of 22-15 while at Louisiana Tech.
"Coach Dykes clearly built up our program-both on the field and in the classroom-and he leaves Cal in a stronger position than when he arrived", athletic directore Mike Williams said in a statement. It also would be a surprise if Cal didn't know that it would be hiring Kelly before firing Dykes. That's not exactly the progress Cal expected moving on from Jeff Tedford. They went 8-5 in 2015, but then slid back to 5-7 this season. Spavital coordinated the country's No. 10 offense this season (513 yards per game), despite the loss of multiple key players from the Golden Bears' 2015 team, so he is presumably a candidate for the permanent job.

You should take medical treatment or help if you're facing trouble hearing consonants, ear pain and any symptoms of hearing loss. Before we get into that explanation, though, it's good to review why people use cotton buds in their ears to begin with.
Tedford brought a period of prosperity for Cal football in the mid-2000s, with three straight top-25 finishes, but the Golden Bears have played in two bowl games in the past seven years and have struggled to keep up in the hard Pac-12 North, especially when OR and Stanford were at their peak. While Kelly seems to prefer the National Football League to the college game - and the recruiting and politics that come with it - he was a sensation at OR, first as offensive coordinator, then at head coach.
That's all she wrote, as the Golden Bears are in the market for a new head coach.
