Georgia's unemployment rate inched higher for the fourth month in a row in December, reaching 5.4 percent, up from 5.3 percent in November.
The national unemployment rate is 4.7 percent.
"You have to look back 20 years to see this low level of unemployment", Beleiciks said.
In December 2016, Kentucky's civilian labor force was 2,016,835, an increase of 11,903 individuals compared to the previous month.
"As far as wage and salary employment goes, we continue to experience record numbers", said Washington. Leisure and hospitality employment grew by 3,900 jobs in December, and manufacturing employment expanded by 1,400 jobs.
Gambia's Jammeh offered last chance for peaceful exit before troops advance
Jammeh had a midday deadline set by the ECOWAS West African regional bloc - but that has come and gone, Eyder adds. At least 26,000 Gambians, fearful that violence could erupt, have sought refuge in Senegal.
Jobs in manufacturing decreased by 2,000.
"Private-sector employment has been strong over the year with overall job growth of 172,600 jobs said", said Ruth R. Hughs, TWC commissioner representing employers.
The labor department will release December unemployment rates for Georgia's metro areas next week. Extrapolations by the state's employment economists show a sub-10 percent U-6 rate in 1998, but in general, the jobs picture in OR has never been brighter than it is now. But even with that loss, the New Haven area finished 2016 with 200 more jobs than it had 12 months ago. Since December 2015, this sector has expanded by 8,100 jobs.
CT still has not recovered all of the jobs lost in the last recession, which ended in February 2010. This is the largest sector in Kentucky with almost 400,000 jobs accounting for one-fifth of all nonfarm employment. The government supersector includes all federal, state and local employment, including public higher education and casinos located on tribal land. Other industries seeing growth in 2016 were trade, transportation and utilities (up 8,963), professional and business services (up 8,313), construction (up 7,414), financial activities (up 2,620), and government (up 977). Seasonal adjustments eliminate these influences and make it easier to observe statistical trends.
