Mead and her daughter, Winter were reported missing on February 14 after Mead did not show up for wor. She and her mother were reported missing on Tuesday after Mead failed to show up to work. Officers located part of her body in a dumpster at an Okmulgee Murphy USA gas station not far from where police arrested Adam Densmore, 32, and recovered the couple's 13-month-old child.
It all started Wednesday when a gas station employee found human remains in the dumpster near a Walmart in Okmulgee. Winter Mead was placed into child protective services.
The body has not been identified, but Cordingly said the warrant was issued because authorities believe Ashley Mead is dead and the body was found near where her daughter and Densmore were discovered.
Boulder police are searching for a missing woman's remains in Arkansas and other states.
Densmore was arrested on charges of first-degree murder. The arrest affidavit has been sealed by the court.
