An 8-year-old girl was shot to death after a crash on West Fuqua Street near Sam Houston Parkway, police said.

Police continue looking for the drivers of the Pontiac and the sedan and said they are still trying to determine a motive.
"I kept telling her, 'wake up, wake up, stay with me, stay with me, stay with me", Thomas said.
"I looked over and thought she was trying to help", she told ABC 13.

In an emotional video posted on YouTube, Thomas said she missed her daughter and pleaded with those responsible to come forward. Thomas believes somebody knows who the murderer is, possibly the person in the vehicle she crashed into. Police are offering a $5,000 reward leading to the arrest of the suspect or suspects.
