On the WE TV series From Not to Hot, Mama June Shannon of Here Comes Honey Boo Boo fame shows how she lost 300 pounds, ending up at a size 4.
It's only been about five days since Mama June has come out of hiding - she was forced to spend seven weeks in a safe house in order to avoid spoiling her slimmer figure to fans. The excess skin shed about 12 pounds off her body alone.
According to People, Mama June also underwent a breast augmentation and lost a combined total of nine pounds through skin removal surgery on her neck, arms and stomach. She's also happier overall now that her weight-loss goal has been met.
Alana Thompson proclaimed, "She looks like Marilyn Monroe!" adding, "I never thought mama would look that good".
TV's Dr. Oz told Inside Edition that Mama June will have to make permanent changes in her lifestyle if she wants to maintain a healthy weight.
"I was more mad of the point that he said, because I didn't get this shape from not eating", she said.
Google: machine learning may fix ad placement dispute
Google isn't alone in this ad fight, either. "But it isn't", he said at Google's annual advertising show. Some researchers argue digital platforms should rely on humans to make these editorial decisions.
"I don't want them to go through what I went through in school or with surgery", Shannon told PEOPLE.
To achieve her new body, Shannon had to engage in serious workout sessions, a gastric bypass surgery, and a strict diet to lose weight. "I will do whatever it takes", Shannon said.
June spoke about her relationship with her daughter on Good Morning America Wednesday.
June said Sugar Bear, who married his girlfriend of a year, Jennifer, in January, is not in their daughter Alana's life and she hasn't heard from him since her transformation was revealed. "Who would want that?"
Mama June revealed she's really looking forward to having a normal life again, and can't wait to splurge on some new clothes. Her youngest, Alana "Honey Boo Boo" Thompson, said that her mother looks great and she is absolutely proud of her.
