Misbah-ul-Haq will quit global cricket after the three-Test series in West Indies starting later this month.
Misbah will hang up his boots for good after the Test series in the West Indies which gets underway on April 21 and he is eager to go out on a high.
"I know my googlies are getting famous, but that's not the only one", Shadab told Associated Press from Guyana on Monday.
Speaking to media here, Misbah said he had planned earlier that West Indies series was important to bring confidence back to the team because the team performance had not been up-to-the-mark of late.
A reluctant spinner, Shadab comes from Mianwali, which is also the home town of Misbah and Pakistan's World Cup winning skipper Imran Khan.
He was appointed as test captain ahead of two-test series against South Africa at Abu Dhabi in 2010 after predecessor Salman Butt was suspended and later jailed on spot-fixing charges.
