Moreover, the Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild arrives with a so-called Hard Mode, which, obviously, increases an enemy's rank.
This is something that players have been requesting the developer since the game's release. There's just so much wonder in Hyrule, and every turn of the corner holds the potential of a new secret that over a hundred hours of gameplay hadn't managed to unearth. The Travel Medallion (located in a chest "somewhere in the game") will also let Link set one temporary fast-travel point on the map. This won't give you the answer to puzzles, just help you narrow down the location of the Korok. Definitely a handy addition to any adventurers inventory. Check out the full press release below for even more details. Both come in the Expansion Pass, which will cost you $20.
The Master Trials will add "Hero's Path Mode" to the game's map.
The centerpiece of the expansion is the "Trial Of The Sword," a special combat gauntlet that strips Link of his equipment and pits him against 45 rooms of enemies. It's called The Master Trials, includes the promised difficulty bump and trial-style dungeon gauntlet, and is still on track for sometime "this summer".
There's a promising amount of content in The Master Trials, though it seems primarily aimed at folks who simply want Breath of the Wild to offer more of a challenge. Plus, enemies will recover health during battle, and they'll be more aware when you attempt to sneak up on them. Once he clears a room of enemies, he'll proceed to the next, all en route to awakening the "true power of the Master Sword".
Marlon Humphrey goes No. 16 to Baltimore Ravens in NFL Draft
Baltimore selected Marlon Humphrey , Tyus Bowers, Chris Wormley , Tim Williams, Nico Siragusa, Jermaine Eluemunor and Chuck Clark. Something many have argued about ever since the pick was announced (or read on Twitter five minutes before it was announced).
The DLC also includes a hard mode, complete with tougher enemies and floating treasure guarded by monsters. By successfully reaching these planks, players can battle enemies and collect treasure.
Fans looking for a new challenge are in for a treat with the new Hard Mode. This will also work retroactively, and players will be able to see exactly where they have traveled in the game world. All this content will be available in the world of Breath of the Wild, so players will have to search for them all over Hyrule.
The Travel Medallion is one of the new items available. Activating it registers your current location as a fast travel point until you use it again. The player can transport to that point at any time. Only one Travel Medallion marker can be active. The player can also find the Korok mask, which shakes when a Korok is nearby.
Another new option in The Master Trials is Hero's Path Mode, which is what Nintendo referred to as "a new feature for the in-game map" in its original announcement of the Expansion Pass. And lastly, the new equipment will be themed on characters like Midna and Tingle, as well as games like Phantom Hourglass and Majora's Mask.
