"We are so pleased to welcome Amazon to Apple TV", said Apple CEO Tim Cook, after a brief mention of the company's TV app, which now supports channels with video content from 50 partners. He did not provide further details about the Amazon's Prime Video on Apple TV.
Apple, who has been long rivals with Amazon in the video space, said it is adding the streaming service along with its fifty other partnerships including HBO Now, SHO Anytime, and Spike (to name a few).
During a conference call with analysts earlier this year, Cook said "we have put our toe in the water doing some original content for Apple Music".

To bridge the gap, it's built a superpowered version of its all-in-one iMac that will be available in December.
Retailing for $4,999, the newest member of Apple's iMac family, the iMac Pro, will be available in December, and promises to be the "most powerful Mac ever".
You'll be able to ask Siri, "How do you say this in Chinese?" and it will speak it. Languages include Chinese, French, German, Italian and Spanish, with more coming in the future.
These improvements are relatively basic as Apple has clearly dedicated its time to creating the big architectural leaps that High Sierra is introducing. However, this new announcement points towards a new deal between the two.
