Tennis player Venus Williams would be responsible for a road accident which is concluded by the death of a 78 year-old man.
TMZ reported Thursday that 78-year-old Jerome Barson had died on Sunday after a June 9 collision that left him with a bad head trauma.
The victim was taken to the hospital where he died two weeks later.
According to the report, Linda Barson told police she was traveling west in the right lane and approaching an intersection, slowing for a traffic light.

According to TMZ, authorities blame Venus for the accident. His wife suffered broken bones and other injuries.

TMZ notes that there was no evidence Venus was under the influence of any drugs or alcohol or distracted by an electronic device.
"Ms. Williams entered the intersection on a green light", her attorney Malcolm Cunningham said.
Barson's wife, who was behind the wheel of the other vehicle, told police that Williams sped out at the corner of Ballenisles Drive and Northlake Boulevard.
