The National Hurricane Center says Hurricane Harvey has powered up to 125 mph (201 kph) as it bears down on the Texas coast, with its eye about 60 miles (95 kilometers) east-southeast of Corpus Christi, Texas.
Carnival Cruise Line has two cruise ships scheduled to arrive in Galveston on Saturday and another two on Sunday.

Both ships would make stops in New Orleans to refuel and resupply and guests would be allow to leave, but would be encouraged to stay aboard and return to Galveston, officials said.
