"Then, what seemed like it would go one way quickly went another".
After nearly three months of having to choose from 31 male contestants, #rachel lindsay finally made a decision to give her heart to #Bryan Abasolo during the final episode of "The Bachelorette" season 13 aired on Monday. Peter clearly always wanted to be the Bachelor, and I suspect that's really why Rachel was so frustrated.
One of the twosome's first stops was at Live With Kelly and Ryan, where Rachel addressed a fan's concern she 'should have chosen true love over the ring'. One Twitter user was particularly confused about Lindsay's choice: In response to that specific tweet, Lindsay said, "I think people should be upset if I was cold-hearted at the end".

The 37-year-old chiropractor was the lucky man to sweep Rachel off her feet, after the 32-year-old attorney sent Eric Bigger and Peter Kraus home. Peter firmly and repeatedly told Rachel he wouldn't propose to her if she picked him because he has some weird marriage hangups.
After a couple of overnight dates with Eric, Rachel reluctantly had to let him go. In this moment, I see my forever, and I see my future.
So that leads to Peter coming out, LIVE, to talk to Rachel because this season is a TRAGEDY.
Olympic legend Betty Cuthbert dies
MALCOLM TURNBULL , Prime Minister - "Rest in peace Betty Cuthbert - an inspiration and a champion on and off the track". At Athens 2004, swimmer Ian Thorpe became the only Australian to have more gold medals than Cuthbert with five.
"She is everything that I hoped and dreamed of, " he said on the show.
Adam Gottschalk, eliminated in week seven, just feels for Rachel. Peter and I explored this attractive monastery. "I still struggle with it now". "I just want to say thank you [Rachel] for giving me that and allowing me to receive love from you, because now I'm a man". He needed more time and thought an evening in the Fantasy Suite - just he and I - might help him clarify some things. Bryan - the man who consumes Rachel's face whenever they're making out, so it looks like, as my friend says, "a dementor sucking the soul out of a lovely and innocent muggle" - and Rachel are engaged.
While Rachel was rushing towards an engagement, the two revealed on Monday's After the Final Rose that they're taking their time before getting married. "So as far as all the negative forces on the outside, I think at this stage in our lives, we're the best equipped to handle those things". He even earned the "First Impression Rose" after charming the former Bachelorette with his steamy Spanish charisma.
We are taken to a mountain top in Spain where Bryan hikes up to meet Rachel.
"I am the best version of myself when I'm with you - you're so easy and effortless to love". And just to watch that over with Peter, it was just frustrating to see her go through that, exactly what she was talking about, that push and pull.
As for this final episode, it all came down to three guys, but I always had a feeling it was going to be Bryan, and I was right! That night, Bryan brings this up, and Rachel is glad he does.
