A homicide investigation is under investigation in Clinton Friday morning after three children were found dead inside of a home, Prince George's County police said.
The victims had suffered from trauma to the body, Donelan said.
"We will find out who is responsible", she said.
Investigators have not yet determined if the three girls were related to each other or how.

At least 23 people are reported to be missing since Friday, according to the data provided by Nepal's Ministry of Home Affairs. However, their access to the affected areas were restricted due to the inundation of entire villages and blocked roads.
"We are now in the midst of a major investigation into what happened to these children and who killed them", police spokesperson Jennifer Donelan told NBC News. The identities of the girls have not been released. Police did say they are interviewing the family members at this time. Donelan said that this case is one of the most hard that their police officers have ever walked in on.
Police said via Twitter, "We are committed to make arrest and determine motive".
A family member who returned to the home in Clinton, a suburb of Washington, discovered the bodies and called police at about 7:30 a.m. EDT.
Because this case is so disturbing for law enforcement, many who have children of their own, counselors were brought in and will offer any help they can to the people working this case.
