"We are prepared to use the full range of military capabilities to defend the USA homeland and our allies", she added.
USA analysts now estimate that North Korea may have as many as 60 nuclear weapons, according to a Washington Post report.
Saturday's jet patrol comes after officials and experts concluded a small quake registered near North Korea's nuclear test site was likely not man-made.
He also said that Trump's depiction of Kim as "Rocket Man" makes "our rocket's visit to the entire US mainland inevitable all the more".
North Korea - which has recently carried out a series of nuclear tests - has so far made no comment.
