The US President has taken "the only reasonable approach", claimed the diplomat who headed Israel's foreign service when the West reached its deal with Iran.
In a speech on state TV, he said Tehran would stick to the agreement, but only as long as the other six signatories - the US, UK, Russia, France, China, and Germany - respected the deal.
The remaining parties to the accord insist Washington can not unilaterally cancel a multinational deal enshrined by a United Nations resolution.
His comments followed Mr Trump's announcement on Friday that he would not re-certify the landmark deal, which saw Iran suspend elements of its nuclear energy programme in exchange for a relaxation of sanctions.
"Europe must stand against practical measures [taken] by America", he said.
The American leader called for the deal to be amended to prevent Iran from developing nuclear weapons or intercontinental ballistic missiles.
Massive Neutron Star Collisions Explain the Universe's Gold, Platinum, and Uranium
Scientists could identify the chirp source as objects that were much less massive than the black holes seen to date. They concluded that those two neutron stars were destined to crash into each other in about 300 million years.
Khamenei further said that the U.S. is angry because the Islamic Republic has managed to spoil its plots in Lebanon, Syria, Iraq and etc. We welcomed this, but it is not enough to ask Trump not to rip up the agreement.
Speaking in a Wednesday meeting with a group of elite students in Tehran, Ayatollah Khamenei strongly condemned Europe for reiterating the U.S. remarks about Iran's regional presence and missile program, saying that such issues are none of their business. Total was the first Western oil major to sign a deal with Iran to develop phase 11 of Iran's South Pars, the world's largest gas field.
"Why do YOU have missiles?"
The senior commander went on to say that not only European countries and the International Monetary Fund (IMF) refused to comply with Trump's stance toward Iran, but even his own defense and state secretaries held him in contempt for such a stance. "Why do YOU have nuclear weapons?"
"If they ask questions like, 'Why Iran is active in the region?', well, it is none of their business", he said. "We do not accept that Europe sings along with America's bullying and its unreasonable demands", Khamenei said.
