On Tuesdays episode of The View, the panel played a clip of Pence speaking to Sean Hannity and saying, "I give Joy Behar a lot of credit". "She picked up the phone. It's another thing when Jesus talks to you", Joy Behar ridiculed.
"Yes, she did speak to Vice President Pence, they had a great, very nice conversation", said Bill Stankey, Behar's spokesperson, as reported by The Washington Post.
"It's an insult not to me, but to the vast majority of the American people who, like me, cherish their faith", said Pence.
"I was raised to respect everyone's religious faith and I fell short of that", said Behar on Tuesday's show. "I said to Joy, 'Of course, I forgive you".
