On Tuesday, Naidu met leaders of various political parties including Congress, Trinamool Congress and NCP as he vowed to defeat the saffron party in the next Lok Sabha polls.
During the meeting, he will discuss how Andhra Pradesh has been treated by both national parties during bifurcation.
Naidu said farmers had handed over 33,000 acres of land to construct Amaravati. Only problem is that the present NDA government and BJP leadership are shielding and promoting YSR Congress because they would be a weak ally.
Naidu left for New Delhi on Monday and will be in the national capital for two days hoping to bring all anti-BJP parties together. Sometimes, they said there are elections, sometimes they said they would do it. "There are some historical reasons like north-eastern states, hilly region, all these things that you have to protect but some states are having excellent resources, they have to move forward and develop", he said. "People had therefore punished the Congress party in Andhra Pradesh".
Flanked by BJP Andhra Pradesh president K Hari Babu and Mr GVL Narsimha Rao, Mr Javadekar said it was "worrying to see our erstwhile partner blaming the BJP.', The BJP valued friends but it also valued the people more".
Naidu also sought the support of the All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam, the ruling party in Tamil Nadu, for the no-confidence motion it has moved against the Narendra Modi government in Parliament. The Congress had issued a no-confidence motion against the centre last month. Naidu said that "politics" can wait since there is nearly a year time for the next general elections.
Google will reportedly launch mid-range Pixel smartphone for emerging markets
The mid-range Pixel 3 would sit somewhere between those phones and the high-end Pixels in terms of price. Google is not exactly budget-friendly when it came to its Pixel , or Pixel 2 lineup.
On a question if the Union government was specifically acting against southern states, Naidu said progressive states should be encouraged and not discouraged. This is a rare sight when the Chief Minister of a state gives a presentation to the national media.
Soon after the Telugu Desam Party chief accused the Centre of "mud-slinging" and working to damage his credibility, the BJP fielded Union minister Prakash Javadekar to counter him.
He termed Naidu's allegations as politically motivated.
"You fought against Congress and now you are meeting with Congress leaders", he said and added that he was pained by the fallout.
He later tweeted, "Interacted with NCP president Sharad Pawar, NC president Farooq Abdullah, TMC leaders Derek O'Brien, Sudip Bandyopadhyay, Jyotiraditya Scindia from Congress regarding no-confidence motion, highlighted the injustice done to AP for its special status".
