Apple just released an iOS update for your iPhone and iPad. The revelations spurred widespread outrage from customers, who felt Apple was withholding information about the batteries in an effort to force them to purchase new, expensive iPhones, as well as several lawsuits, including one filed in California. If your phone does not support "peak performance capability" (read: your iPhone battery is old and Apple sometimes slows down your device as a result), you'll see an option to disable the "power management" feature (in a very small blue font at the bottom). To access the update, go to Settings - General - Software Update.
iOS 11.3 will also be notifying you if your iPhone's battery needs to be serviced.
Apple's iOS 11.3 is available as over-the-air (OTA) update.
You can get the new iOS update on the following gadgets.
Each time personal information is required, a new privacy icon depicting two people shaking hands will appear, notifying users that their data is required.
UnlimitedIP (UIP) Price Tops $0.0222 on Top Exchanges
Investors can then use their newly-acquired Ethereum or Bitcoin to buy Electra using one of the exchanges listed above. The Reddit community for Energycoin is /r/energycoins and the currency's Github account can be viewed here.
Health Records, which allows a user to easily access his or her own health data in the Health app, is another core feature of iOS 11.3.
You will also now be able to store your medical records on your iPhone, with a new feature in the Health app that will let you connect to your healthcare provider. The update also includes the much-anticipated battery health monitor, which is the company's answer to all the criticism regarding its decision to secretly throttle iPhone batteries when they get to be a certain age.
The health records stored on the phone are encrypted by the user's iPhone or iOS device passcode, Apple said.
Augmented Reality has been given a boost with an update to ARKit which lets users "recognise and place virtual objects on vertical surfaces like walls and doors, and can more accurately map irregularly shaped surfaces like circular tables". This feature will help users become more aware of their battery capacity. Previously, tvOS 11.3 had been expected to include AirPlay 2, which would sync playback of audio files across multiple HomePods and Apple TV, but it ended up not making it into the update. Currently, users can only download their data, correct their contact info, or delete their accounts by contacting Apple Support directly.
Apple is adding even more privacy controls in light of new European regulations, Bloomberg reports.
