The Eagles Aerie #16 and Auxiliary #16 have been helping organize a major Easter egg hunt in Helena for 89 years.
"I like Easter egg hunts because the eggs have stuff inside", said Sophie, 6, of Jersey City, whose big brother, Andrew Nunez, brought her to the event today.
"Some of them are in wheelchairs, some of them can't be very mobile", Dan Cox with Krewe of St. Andrews said.
The event did not raise money for any specific cause, but Dingwall said the club will find some way to put it to good use.
3,000 Easter eggs were hunted at Northwest Middle School.
"It's a tradition for Easter and I used to play on this field when I was a kid", said Freyre.
The egg hunt is for children 12 and under. The cheerleaders enjoyed the event so much that they wanted to help out more in the community, she said.
"I am so amazed with the Krewe of St. Andrews".
"There wasn't anything like it in town, so we thought why not have an egg hunt for dogs".

More than 500 children packed the park where they hunted for chocolate goodies, scored some prizes, and got to take pictures with the Easter Bunny himself.
Right now, it looks like we'll see more light shower activity for late Thursday, then more of a steady rain on Friday and some weaker showers lingering into early Saturday.
More than 1,200 hard-boiled eggs, painted in vibrant pastel colors, were hidden around the park.
