Rajya Sabha MP and former Bollywood actress Jaya Bachchan said that she feels bad on court's verdict to sentence actor Salman Khan to five years of imprisonment for Blackbuck poaching case. Khan can still appeal today's conviction in a higher court.
Four other actors who starred with him in the movie and were also charged with the offence have been acquitted by the court in Jodhpur.
Meanwhile, the actor who pleaded not guilty to the charge can still appeal the case. His defense had pleaded for probation or minimum punishment, arguing that he had been acquitted by higher courts and was involved in social service.
