Trump was asked by a reporter at the White House if he's deserving of the prize after news broke Wednesday that three American men who had been imprisoned by North Korea were on their way home to the United States.
"You know what I want to do, I want to get it finished", he added.
Kim Jong Un recently became the first ruler of North Korea to officially visit the South, where he conferred with president Moon Jae-In. Trump's approval for handling the situation with North Korea has jumped 10 points since late March.
The leaders of North and South Korea would be the most obvious choices - but Moon's idea about including Trump also echoes the sentiment of a crowd in Washington, Mich., where the USA president spoke on Saturday.
