President Donald Trump has formally disclosed that he reimbursed his personal attorney more than $100,000 past year, apparently in connection with the payment of hush money to a porn star, government records show.
Daniels' lawyer, Michael Avenatti, tweeted, "Mr. Trump's disclosure today conclusively proves that the American people were deceived".
"No", Trump said. "I don't know". The disclosure was made as a footnote in a section on Mr. Trump's liabilities.
"Neither the Trump Organization nor the Trump campaign was a party to the transaction with Ms. Clifford, and neither reimbursed me for the payment, either directly or indirectly", Cohen said, using Daniels' real name, Stephanie Clifford.
Stormy Daniels is suing to be released from the hush agreement reached with Cohen, claiming it is invalid because Trump never signed it.

But the president retains ownership of those businesses, through a trust, and can take money out of them at any time. Mr. Trump is also still picking up a Screen Actors Guild pension of almost $65,000 from his years as a reality TV host and sometime bit player in movies.
Though it was published three decades ago, his book The Art of The Deal past year generated as much as $1 million.
