Faith Rodgers also claims to have epilepsy and is accusing R. Kelly of plying her with alcohol, knowing that it aggravated her "epileptic condition". The 20-year-old says that during their relationship Kelly "mentally, sexually and verbally" abused her. R. Kelly is one of pop music's bestselling artists, with hits including "Ignition", "I Believe I Can Fly", and "Bump N' Grind".
R. Kelly is facing further sexual assault allegations with a new lawsuit filed against him for alleged abuse, the transmission of a sexual disease and false imprisonment. In the suit, she says a couple months later Kelly flew her to NYC for one of his concerts.
R. Kelly's management is yet to comment on the scandal.
Accusations of sexual misconduct have followed R Kelly around for more than two decades, of course. Spotify recently removed his music from their streaming service and several shows have been canceled. She says that after the concert, Kelly "bombarded" her hotel room and "initiated unwanted sexual contact", despite allegedly telling the singer that she was "not ready to have sex".
During their relationship, Faith says R Kelly also asked her to sign a contract that he said would offer him "protection".

'He has this type of intimidation right off the bat, so I was just waiting for it to be over, ' she added during her interview. Later in the suit, Rodgers claims Kelly would lock her into rooms, cars and other locations to punish her for not fulfilling his desires. Kelly and the girl whose parents came forward denied the allegations against him. Speaking directly to the HuffPost, the lawyer explained how she ended the relationship in February due to Kelly's "predatory, controlling and abusive behaviour".
