Devil May Cry 5 was later revealed to be set for release on PlayStation 4, PC and Xbox One via the game's official Twitter account, and is now slated for a spring 2019 release. Unfortunately, not much about the gameplay can be inferred from the trailer, but it does show that Dante will be back to kill hordes of demons once again. Throwing shade at DmC ("fans have been asking for a true sequel ever since Devil May Cry 4"), this game looks all insane and high-tec and absolutely bonkers. Maybe it's the short hair.
First of all, we get an overview of the game with a description of what we can expect for this new chapter of the Devil May Cry series. Check out the trailer for yourself below. The game also features the return of acclaimed director Hideaki Itsuno, and featured familiar faces like Nero, who used some of the series' iconic weapons to carve through hordes of demons. DmC was not part of the original Devil May Cry storyline, as it was more of franchise reboot developed by Ninja Theory. Missing his demonic arm, which is the source of his power, Nero and his partner Nico will tackle the hellish threat while searching for Dante. The seeds of a demon tree have started taking root in Red Grave City. Though it appears he lost that arm, and it's been replaced by a cybernetic one.
How will Devil May Cry 5 play?
Rajinikanth's 'Kaala' leaked online on piracy website, Twitterati are angry
Upset with Rajinikanth's statement over the Cauvery row, a Karnataka film body banned the release of the film earlier this month. Pro-Kannada workers protest outside Balaji theatre in Bengaluru where Rajinikanth's movie Kaala is screening, on June 7, 2018.
Just because Dante is missing his arm doesn't mean there is a shortage of action coming in Devil May Cry 5. Are you happy to see the return of Nero and Dante?
