Honor Note 10 is the latest flagship smartphone aimed at gamers from the Chinese company. The Note 10 is set to be the premium flagship of the brand, going head to head with Huawei's own high-end devices such as the P20 and P20 Pro. The brand seems to be targeting the gaming market too, owing to the use of "liquid cooling" to keep the internals from running hot.
The internal storage variants of the 6GB model are 64GB or 128GB, while the 8GB version comes with 128GB exclusively. Interestingly enough, the Honor Note 10 sports a dedicated hardware button for CPU Turbo, GPU Turbo, and Double Turbo modes which essentially boost the performance of the device, and that hardware button is located where a camera shutter would usually be placed. At its core, the device runs on a HiSilicon Kirin 970 chipset that supports GPU Turbo aided by 6GB/8GB RAM and 64GB/128GB storage. The device also features a 3.5mm jack for audio connectivity, and a hybrid dual-SIM slot that lets you have either two SIM cards simultaneously, or one SIM card and a microSD card for storage expansion. The Honor Note 10 also ships with Huawei's Super Charge fast charging technology.
The Note 10 is available in Midnight Black and Phantom Blue colors and it's already on for pre-order in China. Honor has added a 13MP shooter on the front side. The selfie camera comes with Portrait Mode, Moving Picture, Panorama, Video, AR lens, Time-Lapse, Filter, and Watermark modes. There is also a rear-facing fingerprint sensor along with face unlock support.
The Honor Note 10 ships with Android 8.1 Oreo, though on top of it, you will find Huawei's Emotion UI (EMUI) skin, in this case, we're looking at variants 8.2, which is the latest Huawei introduced to date.
