Graham's demands for a secondary investigation Sunday mark the latest chapter in the ongoing saga surrounding Kavanaugh's nomination.
The bickering over the prospect of an Federal Bureau of Investigation probe comes a day after US President Donald Trump said that he would not order one as "there was nothing to investigate".
Concluding his grandstanding, Graham told Kavanaugh's daughters that he was proud of their father and he believes he is "a good man". Anyone who isn't a complete imbecile knows that she never would have come forward with these allegations if Kavanaugh's judicial philosophy had been more congenial to her own neoliberal worldview.
Graham also said the Federal Bureau of Investigation would talk to people whom Ford said were "witnesses", an apparent reference to people she said were at the small party where she was allegedly assaulted.
The nominee said he did not know.
Democrats are already preparing their next round of complaints for when the extra FBI investigation of Brett Kavanaugh comes back empty.
"When you look at releases and leaks and they say, 'No, I didn't do it.' Dianne Feinstein, did you leak?", Trump said to a chorus of boos from the crowd.
In another statement, Patrick J. Smyth, identified by Ford as being among those downstairs at the party, says "I have no knowledge of the party in question; nor do I have any knowledge of the allegations of improper conduct she has leveled against Brett Kavanaugh'".
Aaron Ramsey's contract talks with Arsenal collapse with no offer on table
This whole situation has turned ugly for Arsenal , who have developed Ramsey for the past decade, since he signed from Cardiff. Will they pay a fee in January or play the waiting game and leave Arsenal penniless come the end of the season.
"I called him after this happened, the allegations came out, said, 'Did you do it?'" Graham recalled. Frankly, if you were wrongfully accused of being an attempted rapist, you'd probably be livid. The judge responded, "No".
"I think we've been very fair", he added.
He went on to vehemently chastise the Democratic senators: "Boy, you all want power". Because I got here the same way anyone else did, " said Graham before going on a long tirade. I hope the American people can see through this sham.
As far as leaking the original letter, Dr. Ford claims she only told Sen. "None", the senator declared. He said before the vote that he, in agreement with Democrats, would be calling for a one-week delay to allow the FBI to investigate. "Let me tell my Democratic friends, if this is the new norm, you better watch out for your nominees".
The judge politely replied, "I've been through a process of advice and consent under the Constitution".
"This is not a job interview". "You have interacted with professional women all your life, not one accusation".
"Graham then delved into the absurdity that he was supposed to be Bill Cosby" when he was in high school and college and how he suddenly got "over it" as an adult.
