OnePlus 6T McLaren Edition will launch in India today, December 12.
The OnePlus 6T McLaren edition is available for £649 GBP, €699 Euros, $699 Dollars. As far as hardware differences between the regular OnePlus 6T and the McLaren Edition are concerned, that's pretty much it. Angle the phone a bit and note the embedded carbon fiber design under the glossy black glass.
Fans could also see the famous McLaren logo emblazoned across the rear of the device. There's a plaque inside that holds a McLaren logo made out of actual carbon fiber that is used to make the McLaren MLC33 Formula 1 race auto. After all, that's still a fairly recent flagship and the McLaren Edition isn't a completely new entry in the range, rather it's a reworked version of the 6T.
This next-generation device is being launched in collaboration with McLaren with it, to the world at the F1 team's headquarters in Woking.
OnePlus 6T McLaren Edition will be launched at Richardson and Cruddas Limited, Byculla, Mumbai.
In optics, OnePlus 6T McLaren Edition features the same camera configuration as OnePlus 6T.
OnePlus 6T Mc Laren Edition will launch in India later today
The OnePlus 6T McLaren Edition will be available in India, China, Western Europe and North America.
The device will retail for $699 when it goes on sale later this week. Fast cars, fast charging, and the orange trim on the OnePlus 6T McLaren Edition all show that this partnership has been carefully thought through. The phone will launch in Europe and in the U.S. on December 13 and will retail at £649 or $699.
When compared to the OnePlus 6T standard edition, the McLaren Edition has 2GB more RAM and Warp Charge 30 to more efficiently fuel up the smartphone.
The recently released OnePlus 6T is the best sub-$600-priced flagship on the market, thanks to its high-end specifications and features such as the in-display fingerprint scanner.
As you'd imagine, the McLaren Edition also comes with a new design, complete with a carbon fiber back and orange accents. In the box, the users will get other McLaren-inspired accessories as well.
Second, the phone features something called Warp Charge 30, which OnePlus says is their new charging standard. CEO of McLaren Racing Zak Brown introduced the "long term partnership" with OnePlus on stage at the event which was titled a "Salute to Speed".
