The bug is triggered when callers add themselves to the same call to launch a group chat. If you keep it active, just be aware that incoming callers may be able to listen and/or view you from your iPhone. In the meantime, it's disabled Group FaceTime functionality, which is seemingly to blame for the issues, although 9to5Mac says it's still possible to take advantage of the exploit.
