Those with a good memory will remember that nearly an entire year ago we reported that a Modern Warfare 2 Remaster was in the works, and that it would only feature the game's campaign, not multiplayer. The rating given by PEGI is 18+ to Modern Warfare 2. The previous Modern Warfare Remastered had the multiplayer mode as well as the story mode ready at release.
That would seem like a odd move to me given the massive popularity of the online side of Modern Warfare 2, so it does make me worry that they may be considering splitting the game up and releasing a separate remaster for the multiplayer side of things for ultimate cash-in potential. The multiplayer aspect of Call of Duty games has always been their highlight.
Labour move to back a second European Union referendum
That amendment may not come at this week's vote in parliament however. "There's no turning back for Jeremy now", Kyle said. Labour MP Owen Smith was sacked previous year from the party frontbench after he backed a second referendum .
The rumours have been picking up as of late, and the recent offering of Modern Warfare Remastered being free on PS4 has only added fuel to what has been a long-burning, heated fire. The rating is actually only for the campaign, so it's not yet clear if the multiplayer portion of the game is also getting remastered. Activision-Blizzard, the publisher, has not made any official statement about the release.
That said, while we have heard unofficial reports of the remaster, we haven't heard anything from Activision itself. This might come as a sequel edition to the original Warfare 2 game.
Or, you know, maybe giving us Modern Warfare 4 instead?
