The Assistant Calls page has been updated to reflect the wider availability of the feature, and also mentions that the feature is available on devices running something called iOS (your guess is as good as ours on that one).
The feature was being rolled out in October, but now, Google has announced it's making it available in 43 USA states. Notably, India already has assistant support to host Duplex, but the final answer still remains to be seen.
Despite concerns about Duplex's identity, Google said it will not change the way the reservation's system calls a restaurant.
Google Duplex is created to help people book a table at a restaurant without actually talking to anyone.
Modern Warfare 2 Campaign Remastered Rated for PS4
That said, while we have heard unofficial reports of the remaster, we haven't heard anything from Activision itself. The previous Modern Warfare Remastered had the multiplayer mode as well as the story mode ready at release.
Duplex is one of those demonstrations of Google's AI chops that was both awe-inspiring and nearly frightening at the same time. For example, the AI now declares to the person that it is an automated system and that the calls are being recorded before attempting to make the requested reservation.
It can also ask basic information about the business such as whether or not the business is open for a holiday or if the hours arent listed on Google Maps.
Google first showed off Duplex last summer, before rolling it out to a small number of users in a handful of U.S. cities in October. Assistant will then send you a phone notification, email and calendar invite with the details.
It converses just like a real human (with "umms", "ahhs" and pauses) and can be used for making haircut appointments and restaurant reservations, to name a few.
