The "Face/Off" star filed for an annulment from Koike in Las Vegas and the court record also shows that the veteran actor has requested a divorce if an annulment isn't possible, says Entertainment Tonight. Hours after they got married, they were seen fighting again while leaving the Bellagio hotel.
This was Cage's fourth marriage. The wedding came just less than a year after the pair began dating last April.
According to TMZ, the actor arranged the annulment on March 27, though Koike has yet to be served with legal papers.
Eyewitnesses claim she was yelling at him and that they did not seem happy with one another. He was married for six years to his first wife, actress Patricia Arquette.
Prior to this week's events, Cage's shortest marriage to date was to Lisa Marie Presley, which lasted three months.
Nicolas Cage is joining the ranks of celebrities who've undergone quickie marriages only to file for a quickie separation.
Soon after, he met 20-year-old waitress Alice Kim. They had a son, Kal-El, in 2005 and divorced in 2016. Cage also has another son with former girlfriend Christina Fulton.
This follows footage that was published by the Daily Mail of Cage shouting that make-up artist Erika was going to "take all of his money" as they obtained their marriage licence.
