Prosecutors have offered a plea deal to Kraft and 24 other men in which charges would be dropped for soliciting prostitution, the Palm Beach State Attorney confirmed Tuesday. As noted by The Daily Wire, local authorities claim there is "inculpatory video evidence" concerning Kraft.
The Journal noted that a spokesman for the state attorney's office told the outlet "that it is the standard resolution for first-time offenders, or they go to trial".
Palm Beach-based attorney Jack A. Goldberger pleaded not guilty on behalf of Kraft on February 28 and requested he receive a non-jury trial.
Kraft is charged with two misdemeanor counts of soliciting prostitution, to which the 77-year-old has already filed a written plea of not guilty. "Because it is a judicial matter, we will not be commenting any further".
Students in NJ will be striking on Friday for 'Green New Deal'
Thirteen-year-old Aoife Powell, who is in her first year of secondary school, is determined to attend the Dublin protest. Friday's strike is expected to be the biggest yet as evidence mounts of the climate emergency facing the planet.
Kraft is alleged to have visited Orchids of Asia Day Spa, just one of a collection of spas in South Florida that were under investigation in a probe into human trafficking, where he paid cash to engage in sex acts. On the 19, the transaction lasted approximately forty minutes and on the 20, about 14 minutes.
According to the police report, Kraft was at the spa the day before and the morning of New England's 37-31 overtime win against the Kansas City Chiefs in the AFC Championship game.
Golfer Tiger Woods entered a similar diversion program in 2017 when he was charged in Palm Beach County with driving under the influence.
More than two dozen men, including Kraft, were charged with sex solicitation in the Jupiter sting.
