Johnson stepped onto the 13th tee box confidently with driver in hand looking to shake off his second bogey in six holes, but on a practice swing, he accidentally caught a piece of his golf ball. On one of his practice swings Friday, he accidentally knocked his ball off the tee. So Johnson re-teed and found the fairway. His ball then ricocheted off the right tee marker and landed about 10 yards in front of Johnson, who casually walked up and grabbed his ball.
"Shoot, they got that?"
Luckily for Johnson, the rules actually helped him on this one, and Johnson knew the rule immediately.
"I don't think I could do it again if I even tried", Johnson said.
"Zach's eyes were as big as I've ever seen them".
Indictment Says Attorney Michael Avenatti Stole Millions
The maximum possible punishment for these alleged offenses upon conviction, the report said, is 335 years in prison. According to the indictment, Avenatti illegally siphoned money from his clients to pay for his own expenses.
"Okay, there's a first for everything there boys", Johnson said, relieved.
The 2007 Masters champ let out an "oh, s-t" after contact and turned to playing partners, Matt Kuchar and Ian Poulter, to find out what the protocol was. "I know there's supposedly footage of every shot hit here at Augusta this year, and I'm hoping to see that footage at some point. His jaw dropped and we had a good chuckle knowing that wasn't a penalty, but a not-so-top-10 moment".
"Only if I've been drinking", Kisner said.
