One of the two Saudi vessels was on its way to be loaded with Saudi crude oil from the port of Ras Tanura, to be delivered to customers in the US, Saudi Arabia's state-run Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported Monday.
Aramco also said in a statment that "oil and gas supplies to our clients have not been affected by terrorist attacks". The two Saudi ships were among the four that were involved.
One of the pumping stations that was hit was about 700 kilometers (435 miles) from the Yemeni border. This is not a military confrontation because no war is to happen.
Meanwhile, the US has warned it would take military action if Iran acted upon a threat to close the Strait of Hormuz, a strategic energy choke point through which millions of barrels of oil pass through each day.
Saudi officials said the tankers were sabotaged. Some reports have said the move of military assets were in response to credible intelligence that the Iranians were planning some sort of attack on USA military assets.
The announcement by the Iranian leader comes amid increasing tensions between the Islamic Republic and the United States, which has recently increased its military presence in the Middle East in order to counter Tehran. It is mainly a revision of previous plans, with updates allegedly called for by administration hawks led by Trump's National Security Adviser John Bolton.
Iran has called for an investigation into what it called an "alarming" incident, while a senior member of Iran's parliament blamed Israel on Tuesday for the attacks on the ships, for which no one has yet claimed responsibility.

The rebels have targeted Riyadh with missiles and used drones to disrupt air traffic at Saudi airports near the Yemen border.
The development in Saudi's local conflict with the Houthis opens a new front in its regional struggle with Iran.
Yet, the ministers and the EU High Representative said in their statement that "We are determined to continue pursuing efforts to enable the continuation of legitimate trade with Iran, including through the operationalization of the special goal vehicle "INSTEX"-the special objective payment vehicle that the EU set up earlier this year".
Such drones remain hard to shoot down with either light or heavy weapons.
