Harrison faces felony murder, first-degree child cruelty, second-degree child cruelty, simple battery and affray (fighting) charges after the incident.
Footage obtained by WRAL-TV appears to show Harrison as she engages in a physical altercation with another woman on Saturday in the parking lot of Thomas Beauty Supply, a business located in Moultrie, Georgia.
The boy later died and now his mother along with her friend Carneata Clark - who also allegedly lied about how he'd been hurt - have both been taken into custody.
More details to come.

The child landed on its head, and was taken to Colquitt Regional Medical Center for treatment the following day.
Harrison then launched herself into the other woman, dropping her baby boy on the bitumen in the process. Another woman at the scene retrieved the baby as Karen and the other woman continued to fight. The baby later died and the results of an autopsy have not yet been released. Clark corroborated the story.
So far the other woman has not been arrested or named.
The case echoes that of a pregnant mother who was threatened with manslaughter charges after being shot in the stomach while five months pregnant. Clark now faces obstruction charges.
"It's very disturbing tat two adults would fight in a public place while holding a three-month-old child in their arms", a spokesman for the Moultrie Police Department told ABC.
