Several NFL teams are doing their part to help support the victims of last week's deadly mass shootings in El Paso, Texas, and Dayton, Ohio.
Authorities say Crusius drove more than 10 hours from his hometown near Dallas to carry out the shooting in the largely Latino border city of El Paso.
Patrick Crusius, a 21-year-old white man was in a stopped vehicle in a left turn lane when police arrived at the site of the carnage on Saturday, according to an arrest warrant affidavit.
The affidavit said Crusius waived his right to remain silent after he was taken into custody and told detectives he entered the Walmart with an AK47 and multiple magazines.
The gunman confessed to officers while he was surrendering and later explained that he had been targeting Mexicans.
LeBron James Has A Message For The NCAA After New Rule
As soon as the rule was announced, many figured that rule was made because of high-profiled agent Rich Paul . The NCAA just proposed a new set of rules for agents seeking to represent student-athletes.
That shooting also injured around two dozen more and authorities say the suspect, Patrick Crusius, also reportedly admitted that he targeted Mexicans. Thirteen are listed as USA citizens; eight are Mexican nationals. He has blamed President Donald Trump's rhetoric for spreading fear and hate, leading Trump to tweet that O'Rourke should "be quiet". An attorney for the Crusius family, Chris Ayres, told The Associated Press that the rest of the family never heard Patrick Crusius use the kind of racist and anti-immigrant language that was posted in the online screed.
He now faces capital murder charges and is being held without bond.
A damaged tanker truck exploded in eastern Tanzania as people were trying to siphon fuel yesterday, killing at least 62 in one of the worst incidents of its kind in the East African country.
Meanwhile, several victims of the El Paso attack and another mass shooting which took place in OH less than 24 hours later and left nine people dead were being laid to rest. The bureau also said this week it is investigating the Dayton shooter after learning he was interested in "violent ideologies" and, separately, announced that it had opened a domestic terrorism investigation into a July 28 mass shooting at a food festival in Gilroy, California. But at the same time, Trump said he had assured the National Rifle Association that its gun rights views would be "fully represented and respected".
